The Women's Ministry at St. Matthew's Church is twofold. We have a Mother's Prayer Group and The Women's Guild.
THE MOTHER'S PRAYER GROUP
The St. Matthew's Mother's Prayer Group exists to foster Christian fellowship through significant Bible study, and the sharing of, and praying for, family prayer requests. Women of all ages may attend the Mother's Prayer Group, which meets at the church on the second Monday of most months from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Dinner and childcare are provided.
Please call Carrie Nikols at (949) 646-4139, or Nancy Bates at (714) 960-0021, if you would like to know more about the group.

THE WOMEN'S GUILD
The purpose of the Women’s Guild is: to lend support to established ministries in the parish; to visit the sick and homebound; to provide meals and other necessities for the parishioners in need; and to organize special events and fund-raising activities.
For example, the women of the Guild have established a “prayer tree” that provides an opportunity for intercessory prayers for our congregation. If you have a prayer request please contact us. Additionally, the Guild hosts two fundraisers throughout the year. First, we host a bake sale at which anyone can bring homemade goods. Second, once a year, we host the Annual Spring Tea at which members and their guests enjoy an afternoon of sweets and savouries in the traditional English manner. All proceeds from these fundraisers go to the St. Matthew’s Orphanage in Mexico. The Guild also gives ten percent of its annual income to St. Matthew’s Church.
The Women’s Guild meets on the first Saturday of each month at 10:00am in our parish hall, and welcomes all women to attend. Please contact Angel Michael at anjell@cox.net, or (949) 786-8720, if you would like to participate.
